It’s always a huge bonus when an angler can target his selected or even preferred species of fish but to be able to do so while targeting only the largest within their watershed it makes for a unique opportunity for any fly fisherman. Add in the areas unique micro climate all within spectacular surrounds then combined it all makes for a truly unique fly fishing experience. Its not for the faint of heart and an angler is best served having a little adventure streak within to help maximize the opportunity in front of them.

The only aspect as varied as the scenery and contours of the river itself are the methods of fly fishing available when targeting these trophy brown trout. My anglers can swinging flies in a traditional step and sweep or enjoy a more angled streamer tactic approach or marvel in those visuals that skating and even dead drift a fly provide. Heart stopping moments that get the blood pumping and the casting arm twitching.

This program is a wade only option and therefore does include some daily walking each day to access the best pools and runs. The Boca Cerrada program is available either as a dedicated week or can be added before or after a combination package at our lodges at Cinco Rios and Estancia Del Zorro.

Anglers fly into Balmeceda airport and we will take it from there. This is a door to door program and every aspect of your trip is taken care of from the moment you pick up your bags from your flight to when we check you back in with priority check in for your return home. A full all inclusive package.
